Giving Tree donations

Skyland Church is collecting monetary donations for its annual Giving Tree to provide families in the Santa Cruz mountain with gift cards for groceries, clothes and other necessities.

Last year church and community members donated to support 26 families at CT English Middle School and Loma Prieta Elementary School. Parents received Target gift cards to purchase food, toys and clothes for their children. Another 46 students at the two schools received gift cards so that they could shop for themselves and their families. Skyland Church was also able to distribute gift cards for Target, Safeway, Grocery Outlet and Trader Joe’s to almost 100 families who frequent the church’s 24/7 Food Pantry.
